an elite, has a spial

If a beast mob, likely an elite, has a spial ability, will it keep that ability, when tamed? For example: Deathskitter (giant spider) is a lvl 64 elite mob in Outlands. Petopia says it's immune to frost traps. If it was to be tamed, would it keep it's immunity to frost traps?
Nope, oe you tame a pet itan only have the abilities of it'slass of pet. The only differee between a hard to get pet or elite and a normal regular mob is the way it looks.
Not really a spial ability, but the Shadowmoon Valley orpids will keep their fire resist, but youan never re-train them or they'll lose it.
Ok. Thanks for the help.
In the olden days, pre pah 1.9, some animals kept their spial abilities. Lupos was my fav bk when.

"When in doubt, Google it"
ONE HUNDRED FOURTY-TWO! It's not like it's hard to find..
Hean get to 142 like everyone else has to. Unless he wants to go 202, or 363. You know what? Just go to 442. 442 hit rating and 350 weapon skill. Then you won't ever miss anything.
Currently using the Verdant Keeper's Aim for my 57 hunter, and I'm wondering if it's worth getting the Gorewood Bow as a replement before I head to Outland, or if I'll be pking up a new ranged weapon so qukly it won't matter. Alliae side, so the quest is sort of a pain, but I think Iould get my husband and a few guildies to help out. (I have been trying to get the Bloodseeker, but it doesn't look like that's happening anytime soon--I'm going to keep doing AVs for however long it takes to get my quiver, but after that I'm done, and good riddae. 7 more failing pugs to go, yay.)
